A unit of Classic Car Club Manhattan can hold onto its luxury car rental location on Manhattan’s West Side after a bankruptcy judge rejected the Hudson River Park Trust’s bid to throw out the company’s bankruptcy.
The request to dismiss the case is “quite frivolous,” Judge Martin Glenn said at a hearing Thursday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.
The judge, who found that the company had valid reasons for filing Chapter 11, said he also plans to issue a written opinion.
